TOURISM GATEWAY PACKAGES
STUDENT PACKAGE $148
This package is designed to support 5 unit standards, and includes:
- 5 Gateway Student Manuals
- 5 Gateway Assessment Tasks
- A Gateway Experience Record Handbook
- A Gateway Workplace Handbook
- A Tourism Gateway Lanyard
The 5 unit standards can be selected from the options in Table 1 (click here).
These resources are also available separately:

- Gateway Handbooks ($15 each)
TEACHER/COORDINATOR PACKAGE $29
This package is also designed to support 5 unit standards, and includes:
- 5 Gateway Marking Schedules (Assessor use only)
- Gateway Coordinator Handbook

ADVANCED TOURISM GATEWAY PACKAGES
ADVANCED STUDENT PACKAGE $115
The Advanced Package is for Gateway Students that have already completed the National Certificate in Tourism (Introductory Skills) in the classroom.
The package contains:
- US 23755: 1 Gateway Student manual and Gateway Assessment Task
- US 23766: 1 Textbook for unit standard and Gateway Assessment Task
- US 18212: 1 Gateway Assessment Task (note: this is an assignment based task, where students are required to do a research project. No manual is required).
- A Gateway Experience Record Handbook
- A Gateway Workplace Handbook
- A Tourism Gateway Lanyard
The package is designed to support the 3 unit standards below:
- US 23755 Identify and self-evaluate the demands of a specific role in a tourism workplace
- US 23766 Demonstrate knowledge of the tourism industry
- US 18212 Demonstrate knowledge of New Zealand as a tourist destination
